Team Grenada to compete in the TTASA Championship Series carded for the weekend of 17th, 18th & 19th March, 2023 in Trinidad .

The seven (7) member team left the Island on Tuesday 14th, March with their locally built and modified cars (including one Bike) from the Port of St. George aboard the RoRo Vessel ‘Triston Janice’.

Speaking just before the team departed for Trinidad, GMC representative Jeremy Peters said “he’s looking forward to an exciting and incident free weekend of racing”. Peters further stated that “although we host local drags, getting the opportunity to represent our country is a win not only for the racers, but the people of Grenada on a whole”.

See below the names and vehicles of Grenada’s five competitors:

Joshua Lewis with his Mitsubishi Evolution 3 who will be competing in the 8 seconds bracket and hoping to better his regional best time for a Mitsubishi Evo3 of 8.5 seconds in the quarter mile.

Champ Maitland with his Mk4 Supra, who will be competing in the 9 seconds bracket and seeking his personal best time in the quarter.

 

Ron Lowhar with his Mitsubishi Evolution 7 who will be competing in the 10 seconds bracket.

 

 

Reynold Mc Donald with his MK3 V8 Powered Toyota Supra, looking to make his debut run in the quarter mile on overseas soil.

 

Oston Mitchell with his Kawasaki zx10r, Mr. Mitchell will be the only race bike rider representing Grenada in this overseas competition. He will be competing in the 9 seconds bracket and seeking his first 8 seconds in the quarter Mile.
