President of the Rotary Club of Grenada speaks of New Beginnings

November 29th, 2022 – President of the Rotary Club of Grenada, Juan Bailey has announced his satisfaction with the arrangements for the return of Carols by Candlelight after a two-year absence, the last one having been held three years ago.
“I am so very pleased with the public response from patrons, partners and providers of service alike”, said President Juan. He added that he is looking forward to everyone in attendance wearing white at the 2022 edition of Carols by Candlelight which is themed “An All-White Christmas”
The president who assumed office on July 1 2022, said this request is a nod to white being symbolic of new beginnings. “We at the Rotary Club”, he added, “know full well the challenges during the height of the pandemic and lock downs, and the stains it placed on families, and business in Grenada. The Club embarked on several supportive campaigns during the period which included distribution of hundreds of food hampers to marginalized families and PPE to the general hospital system.
“White not only symbolizes new beginnings, which we all have a chance at, but at this time of year it symbolizes peace, light and goodness in a post-pandemic world.”
Carols by Candlelight will be held at Quarantine Point Recreational Park on Sunday 4th December 2022.
