NAWASA’s Update on Water Systems due to the passage of Tropical Storm Dorian

The National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA) informs the general public that it continues to monitor the progress of Tropical Storm Dorian.

An emergency meeting was called this morning of our Disaster Preparedness Committee to assess all water systems and put logistics in place in preparation for the possible effects from the weather system.

NAWASA reminds the general public of the need to have adequate water storage representing a three-day supply of at least 35 gallons of water, per person, per day.

NAWASA advises that as information becomes available on the projected path of the storm, we will provide more specific preparation plans with regards to our water systems.
