The project is expected to have a meaningful impact on the surrounding community of Simon, St. Andrew, generating economic activity during the construction phase and creating a permanent base for organized football activity in the parish.
Under the current administration, the GFA has prioritized infrastructure development as a cornerstone of its long-term vision. The Technical Development Centre complements ongoing investments in club support, womenโs football, youth programs, and international partnerships, reinforcing Grenadaโs growing footprint within regional and global football circles.
President Glean added, โIf Grenada is to compete regionally and internationally, we must build the
systems and infrastructure that support excellence. Todayโs commencement is another step toward
that goal.โ
